Buehler Vineyards, Russian River Chardonnay 2020

Buehler Vineyards are located just outside of St Helena in California. Dedicated to honest and quality-driven wine, they are now into their fourth generation of family ownership and represent one of California's most established family wineries. Specialising in what Cali does best, they make some of our favourite big, bold reds and smooth, buttery whites - all whilst focusing on minimal intervention and maximum flavour. Russian River Chardonnay 2020 is taken from two sites in the appellation: Wood Vineyard and River Vineyard. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo full malolactic fermentation before ageing in French oak. The nose has aromas of ripe peach, nectarine, vanilla and oak. The palate is rich, with more stone-fruit flavours and a nice lick of citrussy acidity to balance the buttery finish. Amazing with lobster or chicken.
